My first visits to Aunt Kate's always involved a root beer float and a handful of change to hit Sylvia's for penny candy, parachute men, and balsa wood planes. Over the years Aunt Kate was always free-spirited and the life of the party. Dante and I went to see her last week and I said 'Sorry to bother you while you're sleeping'. She replied 'It's no bother'...That kind of sums up Aunt Kate, nothing much bothered her and she was always happy to see you.

Aunt Kate would take me to the Christmas bazaar at St Hubert's when i was a boy. We would walk from from grandmom's house. Would always stop at candy store as well. Lots of great memories of her. ❤️

Aunt Kate was a kind and affectionate person who always inquired about my family and treated me with warmth during our visits. Her concern for my well-being and that of my children and husband left a lasting impression on me. I cherish the memory of her kindness and will always remember her fondly.
