Josephius Boone Anderson, of North Philadelphia, sadly passed away May 9th, 2022 at the age of 75. Son of the late Zadie and Eugene Anderson. Loving husband of Anna Anderson. Beloved father of Hakim, Khalil (Keita Anderson), Talid, Rashida (Djuan Mashore) and the late Promise. Cherished grandfather of Nijee (Bria), Kymani (Nafis), Tahir (Tati), Zakiyah (Change), Bianca, Cheyanne, Halim, Sharee and the late Lil Hak as well as great- grandfather of Promise, As’shir, C.J., Brooke, Sean and Elena. Brother of Billy and Calvin. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Shari, Victoria, Kahlil, as well as a host of extended family members. All are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Josephius’ life on Wednesday May 18th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) You may visit and comfort Josephius’ family during his viewing from 9:30AM-11:00AM. There will be a words of remembrance service at 11:00AM. There will be no cemetery that day as Josephius’ wishes were to be cremated. Please keep his family in your prayers.
