John R. Little, Sr.
John R. Little, Sr., formerly of the Lower Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away, surrounded by his loving family at his side, on November 21, 2025, at age 75. Beloved husband of Maryann (nee Mattia). Loving father of John Little, Jr. (Jennifer), Michael Little (Melissa), Kevin Little (Erin) and the late Steven Little. Devoted grandfather of Kayla (Jon), Gianna, Gabriella, Abigail, Kevin and Alexa. Survived by one sister, Marilyn Logan. Predeceased by his parents, James A. Little, Sr. and Mary Little (nee Rushton) as well as his siblings, James, Gerald, Catherine, Elizabeth, Lawrence, Robert and Trudy. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Monday, December 1, in St. Timothy RC Church, 3001 Levick St. You may visit and comfort John’s family during the viewing from 8:30 am – 11:00 am in the church. There will be a funeral mass starting at 11:00 am Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations in John’s memory to Joe Ryan Memorial Fund, 9242 N. Maryann, I don’t know if you remember me - I worked with Ang & Maryann. It’s been a while. I am so very sorry for your loss. Johnny was one in a million.. He always made me laugh! I cannot imagine losing a life partner. My prayers are with you & your family! Big hugs!
Maryann, I can’t tell you how bad I am feeling right now. Even though I haven’t seen him for a while I will always have lots of great memories from the times we had in the 80’s and 90’s. So So Sorry for your loss.
