James Wayne Rowen Sr.

James Wayne Rowen Sr., of Philadelphia, PA, sadly passed away due to natural causes, on December 26, 2022, at the age of 74. Loving father of Elyse M. Goldbacher (Tom) and the late James Rowen Jr. Beloved grandfather of Alexander, Alyson and Emily. Cherished brother of Ellen, William “Bill”, Olive, Edward, Ronald, Lewis and the late Isabell and Thomas. He is survived by his former spouse, Josephine Rowen, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. James was honorably discharged from the Army after several years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, skiing, riding his motorcycle and taking vacations with his family, especially in North Wildwood. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. You may visit and comfort James’ family during his viewing from 11:00AM-12:30PM. There will be a prayer service in the funeral home at 12:30PM. Burial to follow in North Cedar Hill Cemetery.
