James R. Hamill, Jr.

James R. Hamill, Jr., originally from the Tacony section of Philadelphia, passed away on March 15, 2026, at age 75. Beloved husband of Debra Hamill (Ziolkowski). Loving father of James R. Hamill, III (Kelsey). Sadly missed by his siblings, Deborah Clark (William), Rosanne Hamill, Patrick Hamill (Doris). Predeceased by his brothers, Edward Hamill, Robert Hamill, Gerry Hamill, David Hamill and one sister, Eileen Dolan. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Friday, March 20th, in St. Bartholomew RC Church, (Harbison & Cheltenhman Aves) Please enter off of Cheltenham Ave. and park in the lot behind the church and enter through the side doors. You may visit and comfort James’ family during the viewing from 9:30 am – 11:00 am in the church. There will be a funeral mass starting at 11:00 am Further arrangements and burial will be held at a later date. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations in James’ memory to Tunnels to Towers

I got to know Jay from his wife Debbie at bingo at st.Bartholomew once a month bingo we'll he was a kind person who always offered me (drinks) and candy and let me share his trash bag..lol his wife Debbie is a heart of gold them two were two peas in a pod I love everything about them together.. he will definitely be missed 😢 rip 🙏 until we meet again gone to soon good friend.
