Hermann Chartelain, of Philadelphia, born in Léogâne Haiti, sadly passed away August 1, 2023, at the age of 66. Son of the late Cemoine Chartelain and Silianie Louidor. Beloved husband of Lumene Cadet. Loving father of Johanne (Guy Andre), Johnson (Marsha), Patrick (Yanick), Frances (Carl Israel), Astride (Josma), Jessie (Philomin) and Armstrong Andre. Cherished grandfather of Hermanno, Kerby, Mike, Leyton, Felisa, Leyshanah, Cairo, Smeralda, Djamensky, Wood, Jephte, Jaydon, Joshua, Jayniah, Jeremiah, Noah, Abigail, Sebastien, Behrens, Giovanni and Spencer. Brother of Marie Carmel Joseph. Uncle of Bladimir, Marjorie, Regonald and Tamel. Cousin to Jean Claude Croimain. All are invited to celebrate Hermann’s life on Saturday August 12th at God’s Church by the Faith (200 W. Tabor Rd.) from 8:00AM-9:30AM. There will be a service in the church starting at 9:30AM. Burial to follow in Chelten Hills Cemetery.
