Predeceased by his parents, John and Catherine Mulville and his siblings, Jack, Tom, Honey and Jerry (Sue). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Joe Burton (Janice) and the late Jim Burton (Patricia). Frank (AKA “The Chief”), was a member of Shanahan Swim Club, where at 14 years of age, he met Betty, “The true love of his life”, and they danced their way through high school, married at age 19, and were best friends through the next 62 years! Frank was a longtime employee of Philadelphia Electric Company where he was past president of PECO Athletic Association. He was an avid golfer and fan of the Phillies and Eagles. Frank also enjoyed vacationing at the NJ shore with his family, where he would read his favorite books on the porch or at the beach, enjoying the ocean breeze. He was very proud of his family and never missed any of his children’s or grandchildren’s sporting events, graduations or school functions. He always looked forward to a good party or family gatherings, where he would tell his “Dad” jokes or hang the famous spoon from his nose, much to the delight of his grandkids. Frank was a true family man, who left a lasting impression on all of us who will be missed dearly. Until we meet again. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation and funeral on Monday April 10, from 9:30am – 11:00am in St. Katherine of Sienna RC Church, 9700 Frankford ave. There will be a funeral mass at 11:00am. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
