Rosetta McGee
Rosetta McGee (nee Brecker), a resident of Tacony for many years, passed away on October 29, 2025, at age 91. Beloved wife of the late James McGee. Loving mother of James, Shawn (Laura), George, Brian (Krystyna), Greg (Michelle), Erin (Kelly) and the late Rosetta. Sadly missed by her 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Rosetta loved to read, was an avid crossword puzzle solver, whom cherished spending time with others while enjoying their company. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation and funeral on Thursday, November 6th in Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church 7051 Tulip St. Phila., PA 19135. You may visit and comfort Rosetta’s family during the visitation from 9:00 am – 10:30 am in the church. There will be a funeral mass starting at 10:30 am. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Locust Gap, Pa. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations in Rosetta’s memory to ALZ.org Alzheimer’s Association
