In Loving memory of Evelyn Miller, from Philadelphia, PA who passed away February 24, 2024 at the age of 74. Evelyn worked at York Ship Elementary School in Camden, NJ as an aide for handicapped children for almost 20 years. She enjoyed working with children and was very dedicated to her job. Evelyn loved to read. She enjoyed crocheting. She loved Elvis and his music along with Patsy Cline. Evelyn was pre-deceased by daughter Christine Ulrich and survived by son Richard Wirth and daughter Michelle Reis (Gene). She was also pre-deceased by brother Jack Wirth (Theresa), sister Genevieve Brewer (Eugene). Survived by brothers James Wirth (Tina) & Joseph Wirth (JoAnne) and sisters Helen Niessen (John) & Marie Matela (John -deceased). Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Thursday, February 29, from 9:30am – 11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a prayer service starting at 11:00am. Further arrangements will be held in private by her family.
