Edward P. O’Hara Sr. “Ed”, of the Harrowgate section of Philadelphia, peacefully passed away, December 17, 2023, at the age of 91. Loving husband of the late Alma O’Hara. Father of Debra Frank (Ronald), Edward P. O’Hara Jr. (Dorothy), Mary Costello (Jerry), Eva Neven (Ernest) and the late Maureen McDermott. Loving pop of Charlie Frank, Ronald Frank, Edward P. O’Hara III (Diana), Meagan O’Hara, Jerry Costello (Sharae), Amanda Stokol (Roy), Nicole Wermuth (Charles), Kevin McCarthy Crystal McDermott, James McDermott (Heather), as well as great-grandfather to several great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Elaine Nash (the late Joel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. All are invited to Ed’s viewing and funeral Wednesday December 27th at Holy Innocents Church (1337 E. Hunting Park Avenue Phila, PA 19124) from 9:30am-10:30am. There will be a funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment will be held privately by Ed’s family at a later date.
