Edward Campbell

On February 19, 2026, Edward G. Campbell, age 80, of Bensalem, PA, passed away—leaving behind big shoes. He only left his beloved South Jersey in his final months, and only after persistent insistence from his children, something he would want everyone to know.

He was a devoted father to Edward G. Campbell, Jr. (Ellen) and Mary M. Fehrle (Nicholas). Dear brother of Jack Campbell, Robert Campbell, and Richard Campbell. He was preceded in death by his older siblings, Isabel Wakeley and Alphonse Campbell. Companion to Eileen Rabatin for many years, and an Uncle and Friend to many over the years.

Ed was a proud and loving grandfather to Benjamin, Theodore, and Josephine Fehrle, and Adelaide, Clementine Campbell, and Charlotte Latzen. Being “Pop” (and occasionally the one who bent the rules) was his favorite role. If you asked him, the grandkids were perfect — and if they weren’t, he wasn’t telling you.

A lifelong resident of Atco, NJ, Ed was a true South Jersey original. He was a fiercely loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan — loyal enough to yell at the TV, question the coaching staff, and still show up the next week like nothing happened. He enjoyed trips to the casinos in Atlantic City, fully confident that the next machine was the one. He loved good company, strong opinions, and never missing a chance to tell a story.

Ed proudly served in the United States Army and carried that pride with him throughout his life. He loved being a Veteran and wore that identity with honor, strength, and unmistakable patriotism.

He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and quoted often.
