Edith Helen Burke

Edith Helen Burke (née Larr), of Northeast Philadelphia, sadly passed away June 20th, 2022 at the age of 72, way before her time. Beloved wife of James J. Burke Jr. Loving mother of James J. Burke III (Kate), Michael Burke (Evelyn), Christopher Burke (Michelle) and Michele Dougherty (the late Dan). Beloved “EE” of 10 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 3 great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Edith’s life on Wednesday June 29th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) You may visit and comfort Edith’s family during her visitation from 9:30AM-11:00AM. There will be a prayer service in the funeral home at 11:00AM.
