Dear Chubb family, Leslie, and all those close to Donnie, Alan, the girls, and I send our warmest condolences for your loss, and have been truly saddened by Donnie's suffering over the past several months, as well as the hardship that it has brought to all of you. We hope you find comfort in his peace, and in the wonderful and fun memories of him that are with you forever. So glad that in the past couple of years, Alan and I have had some very nice conversations with Donnie, and got to know the friendly, neighborly, generous, and gentlemanly man that he was. He will be missed by many, and not forgotten.

Dear Patty, I am so sorry for your and your family’s loss of your son. I cannot comprehend that when we were kids we never thought of such horrible scenarios. It’s unbelievable. I love you and please call me when you can. I understand. I’m thinking about you.

Donnie was smart and funny and along with Leslie, my dog Ben's friend, trainer and dog whisperer...and a friend. He is sorely missed - he is in heaven, resting, with no more suffering. 💕
