David McGinnis, of Northeast Philadelphia, sadly passed away January 18th, 2022 at the age of 64. Son of the late David and Catherine McGinnis. Beloved husband of Kimberly McGinnis. Loving father of Tara, Brittany and David. Devoted grandfather of Robert, Saniyah, Ryan, Dennis, Amyrah and Bella. Loving brother of Catherine (the late Robert), predeceased by his four siblings, Anna Marie (the late Bob), Arleen (the late William), Richard (the late Kimberly) and Gary (Maryann). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his dog, Babygirl. David loved roofing and fishing. Those were his two biggest passions in life. He especially loved to fish in Long Beach Island and Barnegat Twp. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate David’s life on Thursday February 3rd at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) You may visit and comfort David’s family during his viewing from 9:30AM-11:00AM. There will be a Words of Remembrance service at 11:00AM in the funeral home. There will be no cemetery that day as David’s wishes were to be cremated.
