Christina Dambach, of the Frankford section of Philadelphia, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family, on August 16, 2023, at the age of 71. Tina was a lifelong faithful member of St. Joachim Parish and a graduate of Little Flower Class of ’69 and LaSalle University. She was a longtime Girl Scout leader teaching girls how to be independent and get involved in their community. She taught CCD and was a lector at mass. She was a founding and active member and officer of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Francis de Sales #2617 and has served as officer for the Combined Courts of Philadelphia. Her tireless work at the Matthew 25 Food Pantry at St. Mark’s E.C. in Frankford has helped hundreds of needy families and individuals. Throughout her life she performed many acts of charity and goodwill and participated in countless missions to help others. She had retired from Verizon after 34 years of service and made many lasting friendships there and everywhere she went. She is predeceased by her parents, Andreas and Catherine Dambach and her two brothers, Stephen Dambach and Mark Dambach (Beatrice). Loving mother of Jennifer Carson (Brian), Jonathan Dambach and Christina Rastetter (Jeff ). Beloved grandmother of Zachary, Dylan, Colby, Austin and Jace. Cherished sister of Catherine Martin (Bob), Andy Dambach (the late Reinhardt), Roseanne Goley (the late Robert) and Mitchell Dambach (Jacklyn). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. All are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Christina’s life on Saturday August 26th at St. Joachim’s Church (1527 Church St. Phila., PA 19124) You may visit and comfort Christina’s family during her viewing from 9:30AM-10:30AM.
