Charmaine Char Capobianco

Charmaine (Char) Capobianco (nÊe Spilis), of Philadelphia (Mayfair), PA; Brigantine, Cinnaminson, and Haddon Township, NJ, passed away, peacefully, on November 27, 2024, at the age of 82. 
 
Char was the beloved wife of the late Pat Capobianco. She is survived by her children, Terry (Welton) Maisenhelder, Linda (John) Zawatwicz, Patty (Mario) Benedetti and Chicky (Mike) Marino; grandchildren Elora Maisenhelder (Marc Reamer), Michael Marino (Jennifer) and Kira Maisenhelder (Kevin Sprecher); and her great-grandchildren Alithea Nerys and Jeremy. She is also survived by her sister Sharon Roberts (Thomas, dec.) and many nieces and nephews.
 
Char was a huge Philadelphia Phillies Phanatic, and an avid bowler who loved playing poker with the girls. She also loved going to the casino or bingo games.
 
Charmaine loved a good party and was admired by those who had the pleasure to meet her. She was friendly, kind, courteous, and an overall loving person. 
 
The family will be holding a private celebration of life for her at a later date. 
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please make donations in her name/honor to the Alzheimer’s association.

I remember sitting on our front steps and she was playing solitaire and she decided she was gonna teach me how to play blackjack never forget she won just about every hand. Gonna miss you Mrs Cap!!
