Carmen Diaz, of Philadelphia, PA, born in Puerto Rico, sadly passed away, September 23, 2023, at the age of 79. Loving mother of Carmen Diaz (Rigobuerto Torres), Noemy Diaz, William Santo (Minerva Santo), Freddy Diaz (Evette Diaz), Sonia Soto (Anthony Soto) and Benito Ortiz, as well as the late Anna Marie Diaz and Cruz Augustin Diaz. Beloved grandmother of Damaris Diaz, Chanoa Santiago (Antonio Santiago), Tina LaBega (Osvald LaBega), Edwin DeJesus Jr., Dominic DeJesus (Amarylis DeJesus), Ricardo Torres, Liza Rodriguez (Joshua Rodriguez), Seanna Soto (Iziah Reyes), Margarita DeJesus, Michael DeJesus (Eliza Pagan), George Molina Jr. (Evy Morales), Freddy Diaz Jr. (Liz Diaz), Amanda Diaz, Natalie Diaz, Isaiah Reynolds, Geneva Diaz, Crystal Diaz, Bianca Diaz, Jesus Diaz, Judith Diaz, Sarah Santo, Taina Santo and William Santo Jr. Cherished great-grandmother of 45 great-grandchildren and great-great grandmother of 1 great-great grandchild. All are invited to Carmen’s viewing and funeral Thursday October 5th at The Triumph Baptist Church of Philadelphia (1648 W. Hunting Park Ave. Phila., PA 19140) from 9:00am-10:00am. There will be a service in the church at 10:00am. Burial to follow in Greenmount Cemetery.
