Dear Penny and family : Im so sorry . There are just no words . Cal was like a dad to me . When I met Jeff and we decided to get married I knew I was gaining a husband but I quickly realized I was gaining another dad (Cal). He not only welcomed me as a daughter in law but as a daughter too and I am forever grateful. He would do anything for me or the kids if we needed him. I will always remember him and his smile when I walked into the house he would always joke with me and ask me the same questions three times lol. Cal was a special part of our life . we are all sad and missing him right now . Please know I am always here for you in every way .I am really going to miss him and we’ll get through this together . Until we see you again u will be in our hearts forever .. say hi to my mom and dad up there !!! Love ❤️ you

Uncle Cal was always trying to make everyone laugh or smile or of course burn your face off with some crazy hot pepper he would sneak on a sandwich they made you even though you were not even hungry. He was the best. He built cool dollhouses when we were young, saved me from taking down perms for Aunt Penny he would show off new toys, Sam’s Club buys and hunting treasures and any cool holiday toy he had.he was amazing, He always went up the steps two at time literally until like a few yrs ago, He was kind, he always changed whatever he was watching on tv for the kids to watch whatever they wanted. He was silly his smile was contagious. When I would come over to see everyone, talking or cutting hair. He would make weird faces or stick his tongue out at me behind everyone’s back so I looked like the weirdo making faces back at him. He was wonderful, kind, and silly guy who took care of his family and did so much for everyone. Oh and he was the only guy allowed at the ladies luncheons! We will truly miss you Uncle Cal.

I have a memory of Uncle Callie and my dad going hunting one day. Yes, Uncle Callie thought you had to be in the woods at the first crack of daylight. I remember Uncle Callie shot a poor little rabbit…. I really think he missed but he took off running. When I say running I mean a full all out run! He ran and ran and ran. We joked that he ran that poor rabbit into the next county! Just one of my many memories I have of him and time spent with the family. You will be missed by many. Rest In Peace.

My dad love to fish at core Creek State Park ,there was times my brother Jeff and I went .we did a lot of fishing in pennypack by the prison off state road also and 1 time a prisoner escaped and he came under the bridge while we were fishing and he was acting weird, and when I went up to the car, there was cops everywhere and I told the cop that there was a guy under the bridge looking very suspicious and they went down on both sides of the bridge and took him into custody. And deer hunting we always got in the woods at light lol which kinda to late because they already moved threw and I told my pop I’m driving and we get in woods b4 light . I think he only harvested 2 deer his whole time but just wanted to get out there . Dad you were hard work your father a family could ever have always work with two jobs coming home late at 2 o’clock in the morning to provide for your family. There was many times that you didn’t even eat because you wanted your family to eat, and you never complained once. . Call dad you will be missed but never forgotten. I love you so much and thank you for all you did
