Betty Scott Smith, lately of Philadelphia and formerly of Chicago, IL, and Briarcliff Manor, NY, died on October 5, 2023, 3 weeks short of her 101st birthday. She was a featured actress in productions of The Oak Park (IL) Village Players in her 80s and 90s. She was the widow of Malcolm Chase Smith; the mother of Scott Holliday Smith (Judy), Jill Gates Smith (Roz), and Barbara Dee Smith; and the loving grandmother of Delia, Emily, and Bonnie. Betty was cherished by family, friends, and audiences who will remember her for years to come.
