Angel Lopez

Angel Lopez, of North Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly, on November 9, 2024, at age 39. Loving father of Matthew Lopez and Angel Lopez. Beloved son of Virginia Cartagena and Flor Lopez, Jr. Loving brother of Jose Lopez, and Enrique Lopez (Idalia). Devoted uncle of Vicente Lopez and Salvador Lopez. Sadly missed by his aunts and uncles, Auria Cartagena, Ignacio Cartagena, Jaime Cartagena, Edwin Cartagena, Vanessa Lopez as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.  Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Monday evening, November 18th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts)  Viewing will from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. There will be a prayer service at 6:30pm in the funeral home. Further arrangements will be held at the convenience of his family

We grew up on Franklin st together. To me him and his brothers were the sharpest dressers on the block. A lot of good times when we were younger. I’m gonna miss you twin. I’m not in pa so I send my prayers to your family and may God have mercy on you brotha. I love you twin. RIP ANGEL

Angel was always loving and respectful towards me and always said “Bendicion titi” wherever he saw me. I remember the first time I met him and my heart melted to see how adorable of a twin he was. I have always had a special place in my heart for him. May he rest in eternal peace.
