Andrew M. Mellon “Mels”

Andrew Mellon “Mels”, of Northeast Philadelphia, suddenly passed away February 22nd, 2022 at the age of 56. Beloved son of the late Joseph Mellon and the late Mary Mellon. Brother to Mary Oetzel, Joe Mellon (Pat), Jim Mellon and the late Jack Mellon. Also survived by 5 nieces and nephews, also 5 great nieces and nephews. Andrew retired April 2021 from the International Heat and Frost Insulators Local 14, where he worked for 33 years. He spent his short retirement going fishing, traveling to the shore with his family, hanging out with his friends and going to Maryland with his best buddies. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Wednesday March 2nd from 10:00am to 11:00am in St. Bartholomew RC Church, 5600 Jackson St., Philadelphia PA, 19124 (Please park in the rear parking lot). There will be a Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Burial to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please play the lottery and have a pizza in Andrew’s memory.
