Claribel A. Marcos

Claribel A. Marcos, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away February 13, 2023, at the age of 46. Cherished daughter to Domindor and Erlinda Marcos, beloved sister to Angelica Santos and Dominidor A Marcos, loving mother to Mekhei Barker, and devoted grandmother to Nala and Aurora Barker. Loving Aunt of Denica and Jealyn-Jeade Santos, and her only nephew, Jeaden Santos. She will be missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, best friends, as well as her work family, Tower 8, Kidney Transplant and Oncology Unit Albert Einstein Hospital, her home away from home. Claire was also a dog mom to 8 rambunctious puppies. She was very artistic and loved poetry. She was very dedicated to her work, caring and fighting for both her patients and coworkers. Throughout Claire’s life, she blessed everyone around her with her laughter, leadership, and love. Even in her death, she was able to bless others by giving the gift of life, by donating her heart (on Valentine’s day), liver, and kidneys. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Claire’s wonderful life on Saturday, March 4th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.). You may visit and comfort Claire’s family during her celebration of life from 9:00AM-10:30AM. There will be a memorial celebration in the funeral home to follow at 10:30AM.
