Savie L. Morton 69, of Lower Merion Township passed away on Monday May 9, 2022. Savie was born February 26, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Ora Yancy and Lonnie Foust Sr. Savie’s greatest accomplishments were her children that she raved about every second of the day. Savie was a homemaker who loved to cook, write poems, and loved watching, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and was a devoted Jehovah Witness. Savie’s personality and charisma blossomed in any neighborhood, regardless of where she traveled. Everyone knew and loved her. If you loved her then you loved the world. Savie lived a full life just the way she wanted carefree and without any apologies. She was always full of life, and also, the shining star of any gathering. She was a bright ray of sunshine and brought joy to anyone that was around her. Savie had an infectious personality, warm smile, and loved to laugh. She was cheerful, and adored and loved talking about her family. Savie loved having a good time. Savie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Savie is survived by her 4 children, Tamaka (Anthony), Richard, Jasmine (Lolita), and Yasmin (Bilal), 12 grandchildren, Caitlin, Zachary, Shalill, Ebahn, Shaheem, Larkin, Jonathan, Mi’yanah-Carlyse, Blair, Zoe, Shakir and Jasmine, 4 great-grandchildren, Jayla, Amelia, Alivia and Sha’Miya, 1 Stepdaughter, Vicky (3 children, Kiera, Anthony and Kalin, 6 grandchildren, Andrew, Tatiana, Avion, Avayah, Kapree, and Amaya) and a Step Grandson, Tj (2 children, Tia and Amir), 2 brothers, James (Irene) and John (Marilyn) and a host of cousins and other loving relatives. All are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Savie’s life on Friday May 27th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) You may visit and comfort Savie’s family during her visitation from 9:30AM-11:00AM. There will be a words of remembrance service in the funeral home at 11:00AM.
