😭😢😭Still hard to get used to the fact she’s no longer here with us. So many memories with her. She truly was a wonderful sister, aunt, daughter. I could never say enough positive words about her.

Aunt Janet will always be one of my favorite people in this world. She was an angel to me throughout my whole life. She gave so much without expecting anything in return. She did things from the kindness of her heart, without seeking attention or recognition. Given her reserved demeanor, I’m not sure everyone realized how funny she was! I loved her eccentricities. I loved her warm hugs. She will continue to inspire me for the rest of my life. I remember when I was about three-years-old, I was throwing a small tantrum. Aunt Janet patiently said, “Now come on, you don’t want to be a Cranky Gus,” to which I indignantly replied, “I am not a Frankie Bus!!” I remember that I loved collecting her used Septa transpass cards. She taught me many impressive vocabulary words and took me to get my first library card. She brought me to work with her one day and I was so excited to type on the typewriter. Countless more…

Aunt Janet was warm, kind and so funny. As a child she would loan me books and always asked me if I enjoyed the book. Such a caring soul. I will remember her for her warmth, how welcoming she was to my friends and her love for her family.
