In Loving Memory of Dirk Pyatt
October 6, 1958 – January 12, 2026
Dirk Pyatt, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, was called home on January 12,
2026, at the age of 67.

His Family Dirk’s greatest pride was the family he built. He shared 38 beautiful and
happy years of marriage with his beloved wife, Bertha Pyatt. Together, they raised three
children—Lisa, Norris, and Richard—to whom Dirk was a loving and deeply committed
father.

His legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He
shared a unique and cherished bond with his eldest granddaughter, Alicia, who held a special place in his heart as his favorite.

His Roots Dirk was the son of Sandra Pitts and the late Alexander Pyatt II. Growing up
in the Ruth L. Bennett Homes in Chester, PA, he was the third of ten children. He was a
proud graduate of the Chester High School Class of 1976.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra, and his siblings: Annette Pyatt, Bryon
(Gwendolyn) Pyatt, Gary (Cheryl) Pyatt, Toni (Anthony) Wilson, Darren Pyatt, Angela
Pyatt, John Pyatt, and Dion (Michelle) Pyatt. He also leaves behind a special niece,
Myka (Dennis) Walker, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was
preceded in death by his father and his brother, Alexander Pyatt III.

Forever in Our Hearts To his family, Dirk was a constant presence. Though he is no
longer with us in person, his spirit remains:

Those we LOVE don’t go away. They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but
always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.

Rest in peace, 3. You are forever loved by your wife, your children, your grandchildren,
and your entire family tree.
