Stephen P Hackney of Philadelphia passed at home on August 27, 2025, at age 47. Beloved son of the late Dorshan, and Stephen J Hackney. Stephen’s Partner and best friend, Melania Weicher, were high school sweethearts and were together for 30 years, having many adventures together. Stephen loved to play Football and basketball and was an Avid Eagles Fan. Stephen went to Saint Tim’s and Father Judge High School, then graduated from Northeast Preparatory School. Stephen had many nieces and nephews, and he was the godfather to Avery. Stephen had many cousins: Stephen was the loving nephew of Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Leslie Ann, Aunt Deanne, Aunt Donyale, and Uncle Moony. He will be missed by so many.
A funeral mass and burial will be planned in the coming month. Stephen will be laid to rest with his Mother and Father.
