It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Marcus, who left us peacefully on August 22, 2025, at the age of 80. Born in The Bronx, New York, Eileen later made her home in New Jersey, where she raised her family and built a life filled with warmth and love. For the past 20 years, she resided in Monroe Township, NJ, where she cherished time with her loved ones and her beloved pets.

Eileen had a passion for reading and enjoyed her favorite television programs, including The History Channel, Food Network, and Law & Order: SVU. A lifelong animal lover, she found her greatest joy surrounded by her “fur babies,” who were a constant source of comfort and happiness.
She is survived by her daughters, Nina (married to Michael) and Meredith (with her partner Jason), and her cherished granddaughter Jordyn. Her family will carry forward her love, warmth, and kindness in their hearts forever.
The family will be sitting Shiva at the Finkler home, 34 Pineybranch Road, East Windsor, NJ
08512, on Thursday, August 28, and Friday, August 29, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Family and friends are warmly invited to join in remembrance and celebration of Eileen’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Eileen’s memory to
the ASPCA, or to North Shore Animal League America, 16 Lewyt Street, Port Washington, NY 11050 (Attn: Donor Services/Tribute Gifts), or to your favorite local animal shelter, honoring her lifelong devotion to animals.
