Maria Inez Rosario

May 8, 1967 – June 25, 2025

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Inez Rosario, who left this world surrounded by the people whom loved her so. Born on May 8, 1967, Maria was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose strength, warmth, and heart touched all who knew her.

Maria’s greatest joy in life was making memories with friends and family. She was the loving mother of Maryann Abraham, Jessica Rosado, Lorenzo Rosado III, and Jonathan Rosario.

She was a proud grandmother to her beautiful grandchildren: Celena, Aryanna, RJ, Chris Jr., and Jojo, each of whom brought light and laughter into her life.

Maria is survived by her sister Carmen Velez and her brother Willie Rosario, who shared in the joys and trials of life with her. She was a beloved aunt to her nephews Ralph, Nelson, and Christopher, and her only niece, Jasmine Velez, with whom she shared an incredible bond. She also leaves behind her treasured grandnephew Xavier and grandniece Gaby, who brought her happiness and pride.

Maria will be remembered for her generous spirit, her special bonds with her family, and the love she so freely gave. Her presence filled every room with warmth, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a prayer service starting at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to honor and remember the beautiful life of Maria Inez Rosario.

To my Nana💕 I don’t know where to beginning or how to start but I just want to say I am grateful to had cherish the lovely memories with you. Your kindness, wisdom, and warm hugs mean the world to me. One of my favorite memories with Nana was going to her house for Christmas with all my cousins when we were little. Her presence would always make me laugh, safe, and loved. I always love when she cook shrimp with the red sauce and she would make for all the time when I come over to the house. I love you so so much and I hope you and Abuela are watching over me at college. I am almost done with it, soon I will have my degree and tell you guys that I did it. sending you lots of love and kisses in heaven Nana. I will always be your diva star forever. 💋 Love: Your Divastar💫

To My Beautiful Titi Maria, I miss you more than words can say. I’ll always cherish the memories of playing in your hair and doing your makeup while you smiled and said, “You’re so talented, baby. Keep going. You’re meant for great things.” You always told me how beautiful I am and that I should be a model. You made me feel special, seen, and confident in who I was. Thank you for always loving me, supporting me in everything I do, and believing in me. Your encouragement still guides me every single day. I carry your words and your love in my heart forever. I love you always, Titi Maria. 💖
