Carol Ann Lutz

Carol Ann Lutz

October 29, 1956 -April 6, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ann Lutz on April 6, 2025, at the age of 68. Carol was formerly of the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, PA, and spent her entire life in the city she called home.

She is survived by her life partner of 32 years, Donald Dousharm; her children, Gerald G. Lutz, Eric M. Dousharm, and Bonnie J. Snyder; and her cherished grandchildren, Johnny, Bobby, Carly, Wyatt, and Evelyn.

Carol’s presence brought warmth, laughter, and strength to all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit lives on in every story we tell, every laugh we share, and every tear we shed in her memory. We take comfort in knowing she is at peace, free from pain, and in a better place. We look forward to the day we are reunited. Until then, she will remain forever in our hearts.

A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be announced at a later date.

She was my best friend. Warm, compassionate, nurturing, selfless. Everything that you would want from a person in your life. She was a huge part of mine, even from thousands of miles away. I'm glad that I got to spend her final moments with her, even if it broke my heart. I love you and miss you mom. Be at peace and tell mom-mom, pop-pop, uncle Jake and aunt Ruthie that I said hello and that I'll do my best with my time here. Someday we'll all be together again. This isn't goodbye. This is I'll see you later.
