Margaret Anne Castagna “Peggy”

Margaret Anne “Peggy” Castagna, of the Somerton section of Philadelphia, unexpectedly passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 69.

She was the loving daughter of the late William and Margaret Stutz and the beloved wife of Christian V. Castagna. Peggy was a cherished mother to her son, William “Bill” Castagna.

She was a devoted sister to Barbara Endo (Ronald), a proud aunt to Nicholas Endo and Kelsey Endo, and a great-aunt to Christopher Endo. Peggy is also survived by many dear and faithful friends who will forever remember her. 

All are invited to Peggy’s visitation and prayer service on Monday March 10th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. There will be a prayer service in the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately by her family at a later date.
