In memory of a life that touched so many

My first encounter with Kenny was on September 1st. We were seat mates on our flight home from Cleveland. In the short 15 minutes before takeoff, I quickly learned how much he loved his wife and children. We shared quick stories about our children. He told me all about his daughter and son, he laughed about his headphones that had just broke, and he told me to kick him if he didn’t stop talking or started to snore. He told me how excited he was to go back to Cleveland with his boys to relive the experience he had with his wife. What a guy. Rest in peace 🙏🏽

Kenny was my “seat mate” on the plane ride from Ohio on September 1st. This was our first encounter. I felt compelled to leave a message here because in that short 15 minutes before our hour flight home, we chatted before we dozed off at takeoff. I quickly learned how much he loved his family. I heard all about his daughter and son, his broken headphones, how much he enjoyed his time in Cleveland, and how he couldn’t wait to go back there with his “boys”. I could see the playful love he and his wife had for each other. What a great guy! Rest in peace 🙏🏽

Met Kenny in 2013 at a cyo basketball game he seen my son Michael Jacoby playing & gave his contact info to my brother who never gave it to me still he came back to another game just to try & get him to play football. Mike had never put pads on or played organized football, until that 8th grade yr which he took Mike & made him a cyo rookie of the year with a all star appearance. Mike was recruited HEAVILY & got offers from every local school around lasalle, sjp, ga, roman, etc. He eventually attended judge fjhs to be with his friends graduated in 2020 culminating w a football scholarship to Millersville university. Tragically, he was in a car crash that took his life before he got to live out his dream of playing college football. A dream Kenny gave him & helped him achieve. He also helped me through my grief after mikes death. RIP brother until we meet again.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Kenny, although he would always wave when he saw me. I have heard many good things about him and the time he spent with the kids. Rest in peace neighbor, you will be missed!

First met Kenny when my boys were young and started playing at HBC. He had a way of making the kids and everyone around him happy. The last time I seen him was at the shore and he was his usual happy go lucky self. He always asked how the boys were doing and genuinely cared. My condolences go out to his family and may he rest in peace. Jerry Curran

  1. My love, thoughts and prayers are with the Allmond family at this time of tragic loss. Kenny was the son of my cousin Chuck and, from what I am hearing, he was quite a special person. May God grant peace and comfort to the family.

  6. Kenny was a loyal neighbor, coach, and friend.

To the Allmond family, the loss of Kenny will truly be felt throughout the community.

Kenny’s positive influence can continue to be found in the youth he selflessly mentored throughout the years.

    Rest in peace Kenny.
