Kevin Charles McBrearty
Kevin Charles McBrearty, of Northeast Philadelphia, a proud Father Judge graduate of the class of 1976, peacefully passed away on September 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Charles and Jeannette McBrearty.
Kevin was an avid golfer and a passionate fan of all Philadelphia sports. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was the beloved husband of 37 years to Linda McBrearty and a devoted father to Lauren Fleshman (Michael) and Kevin McBrearty (Heaven Henwood). He was a loving “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren: Delaney, Makenzie, Charlotte, and Klara.
Kevin is also survived by his siblings, Mary Agnes Laughlin, Charles McBrearty (Ronnie), Patrick McBrearty (Kathleen), Diane McCabe (Joseph), and Eileen Dutch (Daniel), as well as many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.
All are invited to Kevin’s visitation and memorial, on Friday, September 27th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) from 12:30 pm-2:00 pm. There will be a prayer service in the funeral home at 2:00 pm.
