Carmen R. Masciocchi, of Abington, Pa, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away on September 14, 2024, at age 81. Beloved husband of Tecla Masciocchi (nee Modafferi). Loving father of Raymond Masciocchi (Elaine) and Francesco Masciocchi. Devoted grandfather of Raymond Masciocchi, Jr. (Deena), Nicholas Masciocchi (Haleigh), Vanessa Masciocchi (Vinny Zappola). Great grandfather of Raymond, III, Arturo, Julian and Leonardo. Brother of Anthony Masciocchi and the late, Mamie Dych, Donnie Galiano, Pete Galiano and Joseph Masciocchi. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Friday, September 20, from 9:00am – 10:00am in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1520 Marian Rd. Abington, Pa 19001. There will be a funeral mass at 10:00am, followed by an entombment at Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers kindly consider donations in Carmen’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association.
I woke today thinking of my family I’m so very Sorry for your loss Aunt Tecala Cousin Raymond , Elaine ,Franco and all of uncle Carmen’s Beautiful grandchildren and beautiful great grand children I pray Jesus will give you all peace in your heart I love you aunt Tecala He will Always be in your hearts and by your side for always ! My Uncle Carmen was a kind and gentle soul and I loved him. His love was pure and unconditional. The love he held for my Aunt, his wife, was a love we dream and aspire to have. Cicero wrote, "The time given us is short, but a life well spent is immortal." My Uncle leaves a legacy of love. Love for his Mother, his family, his wife and his children. We are all richer for knowing him. Rest in peace sweet Prince.

Pop pop you will be missed dearly. I wish that I had more time with you but in the couple years I did have, we were always laughing and smiling. Whether it was talking about sports, the eagles giants rivalry we had going or spending holidays together, I have nothing but great memories with you. We lost the sweetest man, the best husband, dad , pop pop and nonno. He always had a smile , a kind word .I will miss you so much . I will miss our inside jokes and the many laughs! Sunday dinners and the Eagles game will never be the same without you . Rest in peace Dad We love you.
