Stella Ficiak

Stella Louise Davison Ficiak, 82, of Yardley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November
17, 2025.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Stella built a life rooted in compassion, curiosity, and quiet strength.
She graduated from Germantown Nursing School in 1986 and devoted her career to caring for others
as a registered nurse, serving in various hospitals across Philadelphia and Bucks County. Her
dedication, skill, and gentle presence touched countless patients and colleagues throughout the years.
Stella’s home was filled with the things she loved: books stacked on tables, colorful birds visiting her
feeders, stained glass projects catching the light in her windows, and houseplants thriving under her
attentive care. She approached life with a blend of sass, honesty, and kindness that made her
unforgettable to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Myron (Mike) Ficiak; her children, Christine H. Hosay and Michael J.
Harkins Jr.; her grandchildren, Samuel, Joshua, and Zachary Hosay, and Ryan, Joseph, and
Stephanie Harkins; and her sister, Barbara Beveridge.
Stella will be cremated, and the family will gather privately to honor her life.
Her memory will be cherished always.
