My condolences to the Hyers family and their loss. I remember being over their house on several occasions playing Tiger Woods with Pat, Paul, Mr. Hyers, and Kenny. When I was living with Ryan K., Pat and Paul’s close friend, they would always come over to hang out. I remember Pat, Ryan, Paul and Mr. Hyers took me out on my 21st birthday at the Mill Pub and they got me so drunk, I had Paul drive my car back to the apartment. They were such good times back then. Pat was always a chill laid back guy. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Patrick’s passing. It breaks my heart! Sincere condolences to Maryann and the siblings. I know you all will take good care of Ryan, who is my great-great nephew. Although, it is so sad to me that Ryan will grow up without either of his parents. God’s blessings to Ryan and each of you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻💔💔

Seeing this news broke my heart, Pat was such a light that shined on everyone around him. He made working at Olive Garden fun, like it was more than just a job. May he rest in peace, sending love to his family

Pat was a great guy and he will be truly missed. Someone make sure his son is taken care of please. This was very unfortunate

I have worked with Pat, a few times over the years in the kitchen. I am very saddened to hear of his sudden passing and offer his family my sincere condolences. He was a beast in the kitchen. Hard working, kind, and funny. You will be missed Pat. Rest easy my friend, we will have a shift drink when we meet again.

I’ve known Pat since Franklin Elementary. Like Stephen said we definitely played stick ball and hung out. We probably got in a minor trouble but definitely a bunch of fun we had and entertained each other throughout those years. Appreciative for all the moments we had. Prayers to the Hyers family. Love you man.

My dear friend, you were one hell of a father. I always told you how proud I was of you, up until our last conversation a couple of days before you passed. I messaged you on messenger waiting for a reply knowing you wouldn’t. I was going to call but I know there’s no phone or WiFi in heaven lol. Until we meet again my friend.

I’ve known Pat since kindergarten at Franklin Elementary. We shared mutual friends and spent countless hours playing tackle football behind the doctor’s office and stickball in the schoolyard. Like many preteen boys in the ’90s, we’d fight one day and be right back to being friends the next week. My heart goes out to the Hyers family. Rest in peace, old friend.
