Eleanor C. Machemer “Ellie”
Eleanor C. Machemer “Ellie” (nee McAneny) of Pennypack Woods, passed away on January 9th, 2026, at age 75. Beloved wife of the late, Chip Machemer. Loving mother of Kristie A. McGovern (Mike), devoted Mom-Mom of Katie Anne, Drew and Emily. Also survived by one great-grandchild, Luca. Sister of Frank (Kathy), Kevin (Janet), Taffy (Bill), Pat (Helen), Reenie (Marty) and the late Denny (Debbie). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Thursday, January 15th at St. Matthew RC Church, 3000 Cottman Ave. Phila., Pa 19149. You may visit and comfort Ellie’s family during the viewing starting at 9:30 am. There will be a funeral mass starting at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
