Cynthia Spector “Cindy”
Cynthia Spector (nee James) of the Castor Gardens section of Philadelphia, passed away, at home on October 2nd, 2025, at age 73. Loving mother of Adam Spector (Jennifer) and Samantha Spector, Devoted Nana of Justin, Sarah, Juliana, great grandmother of EJ. Also survived by her siblings, William, Bobby, Joan and Linda. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial gathering and funeral on Friday, October 10th from 9:30am – 11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a prayer service starting at 11:00am Further arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations in Cynthia’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.

I've known Cindy since I was a kid. Samantha and I were best friends growing up. Cindy was my "first" second mom and I always looked up to her. She was strong, independent, and funny. She will be missed that's for sure. Love always!
