Frederick C. Sternberger III, passed away the 15th of March, 2019 after fighting cancer for 3 years, surrounded by his family. Raised in the section of Fairmount, then later moved to Tacony. He was a member of St. Leo’s parish. The son of late Frederick and Marion Sternberger II. Loving father of Frederick Sternberger IV (Wendy), Mary Rivera (Hector) and Christine Sternberger. Loving grandfather of Barry, Amanda, Derrick, Joylynn, Sabrina, Raymond, Samantha, Frederick and Aiden, along with 5 great grandsons. Elizabeth Baker “Ellen”, of the Mayfair section, passed away on March 16th, 2019, at the age of 67. Loving mom of Traci Kloczynski (Dan). Devoted grammy of Katelyn Kloczynski. Sister of Al Benedict. Jackolyn Sue Cahill, of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away on March 4th, 2019, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of 38 years to Thomas Cahill. Loving mother of TJ Cahill, loving sister of Frederick Geddes and her best friend Jacqueline Ashman. Also survived by her best friend Vincent Green and her daughters Jennifer Baab and Joy Mace as well her granddaughters Carly Rios and Sabrina Donlon.
