I had heard of Tonya's passing today through a mutual friend. Tonya was a kind soul and she touched many people's lives in such a beautiful way. Rest in peace my sober sister.

I met Tanya Miller at St John’s Lutheran Church on Tyson Ave in 2016 . We always had a friendly conversation with a smile and she love my salads. Tanya rest in Peace My Sister In Christ,
I met Tanya about 21 years ago. Right from the beginning she had the courage of a lion, and the biggest heart of anyone I knew. Watching the love that her and George shared was inspiring. Tanya also like music and like to dance- many many memories of us having fun dancing and dancing. I will always remember her beautiful smile.
Tonya was absolutely one of the most inspirational people I've ever met. Her outlook on life absolutely amazed me. No matter she was going through she found a positive spin for everything. Her stubbornness made me chuckle. I was absolutely in awe of her ability to find her joy no matter what was going on around her. I will surely miss her. See you on the other side

Tonya was a bright light in St. John’s Mayfair community, where I let her through her husband George about 15 years ago. She was a joy to spend time and chat with, especially at Feast of Justice dinners, church events, and visits with her in the hospital. She will be greatly missed. Love to George and her family. ❤️
Only knew Tonya for a relatively short time. She was always pleasant and friendly. She will be missed. My prayers go out to George and Tonya’s children and relatives.

I remember the first time I met Tonya and George on a 4th of July evening at 12 Rewards , when it was on Castor ave. A kind caring person who I always very glad to see. RIP Tonya and peace to all who mourn
