Stephen Rosen
Stephen Rosen of Northeast Philadelphia stepped gracefully into the light of a loving and caring Higher Power on June 5, 2025. Born February 20, 1951 in South Philadelphia and later moved to the Northeast, Stephen was a die hard fan of all Philadelphia Sports. The Eagles were at the top of his list.
All Steve wanted after months of being hospitalized was to watch Superbowl LVIII from his own home on Levick St. With the help of lifelong friends, his dream became reality. The Saturday before Super Bowl Sunday he arrived home in time to cheer as his Eagles became Champions once again. GO BIRDS!
The love of his life, Dorothy, left us far too soon, followed by his mother, Rose, a decade later. Stephen is survived by a cornucopia of friends in recovery from all over the world. In addition to his love for all things Philly, Steve enjoyed traveling and fellowship with his recovering community.
His life was dedicated to growing a program focused on helping those who struggle with addiction- to find a new way of life.
Stephen’s playful, often cantankerous humor, will surely be missed.
A memorial service is being planned for later this summer
