Marian Anastasia Gonzalez “Stacy”
MARIAN ANASTASIA GONZALEZ (NEE OWENS)
“STACY”
Born 12/4/1954 - Passed 5/20/2024
Stacy, wife to Joe Gonzalez and mother to Bridget (Tim), Laura (Kim), Lissette (Willy), and Yvonne (Brian), passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 69, after a long battle with bone and breast cancer as well as Parkinson's. Despite her immense bravery and the constant support and love from her family and friends, her treatment was unsuccessful. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home, surrounded by her husband and daughter Bridget.
Known for her smile, positive outlook in life, and her happiness, Stacy/Mom/Mom Mom will be remembered by her family and friends. Stacy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Stacy’s family asks that she be remembered for the constant joy and laughs she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by siblings Patricia Jankowski (Joe), Kay Aglidjan (Avedis), and Anthony Owens (Christine) as well as her grandchildren Madison (Kieran), Timmy, Jared, Aidan, Brianna, Shea, Jake, and Charlie. She also leaves behind many friends and her favorite collection of fashionista clothes, shoes, jewelry, decorations for every holiday, music, and a glass of White Zinfandel.
Ever the life of the party, Stacy was always very clear a party should be held upon her death. In fulfillment of that wish, we invite you to send her off in style. Simply bring yourself and your favorite memory of Stacy to share. A private ceremony will be held in July as a Celebration of Life and the family and friends will receive a private invitation. During this celebration, we will share pictures and videos of her journey.

The very first time I met your mom we had us a dance party on the beach. We danced till it was dark out and even as we were leaving we were dancing off the beach. It truly was one of my ever favorite days Ive had on the beach. Rest in peace, you free spirit and thank you for the joy you brought my life that day. 🙏🏻🕊️🙏🏻

I’m just broken….Stacy was my Godmom and the Best Aunt that could have blessed my life. Summers at the shore, letting me roller skate in the streets, dancing anywhere there was a good beat and of course jamming out to the Jerry Springer show theme. My most treasured memory will always be her and I singing ‘Jennifer Rebecca 3 days old, how do you like the world so far ?’. Well, honestly it sucks. For sure she is looking down, surrounded by her loved ones and wanting us to celebrate her life, not sit and cry about it. We lost an awesome woman. God gained a perfect angel. I will try and focus on my good memories. I love you Aunt Stacy and will miss you everyday ❤️ 😢
There are so many memories with my friend but one that stands out in my mind today is when Stacy thought she could wrap my stomach up with mailing tape so I could have a figure like Miss America…and I let her do it!!!! Well needless to say it didn’t work for me but we laughed about it for 30 years!!!! I love you girlfriend and you miss you dearly!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I won’t forget how Stacy believed in us. She had our back at work always. She made it fun. Made us laugh and giggle like children. She gave us confidence and always made us feel like we always did a good job. I’ll never forget how she treated my daughters and my husband. She was one of a kind. We’ll miss you so much, Stacy. God bless you.
Stacy was a beautiful person at heart and in life. She loved you so much so sorry for your loss. Hope your wife.

Stacy was one of a kind. Always positive, funny, and very caring. She knew how to make people happy, and if she made you happy, that made her happy. Truly a light in this world. Praying for her family with this great loss.
Stacy was a Pure gem. She was the life of the party each time we all met up on Sat afternoons dancing with the band. Her and Joe became like family to us and she will forever be missed . A true precious Gem. Always had a smile no matter what!!!!I was very lucky to have grown up with a godmother like bridget that introduced me to another mom mom like stacy. someone who cared for me as her own grandchild and always helped me in any situation I needed. Such a light in this world & the next. Lol i remember giving her a haircut one time because she was just so eager to give me a shot. Maybe didn’t like it as much as she said but she didn’t want to ever hurt anybody feelings. Was Such a genuine. pure heart. She has done a lot for me no matter what the case. I will be missing you. We Love you tons, watch over your family as I know you will!!! send them signs!! sending So much love ❤️ to such a loving soul. God bless you Angel. 💕 I know your at peace 🕊️
