Elizabeth Pierce, of Philadelphia, PA, sadly passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 78. Daughter of the late Rholand and Mary Ann Rennebaum. Loving mother of Jay Pierce (Traci). Cherished sister of the late Linda Burke (Thomas). Sister-in-law of Margaret Nugent. Former daughter-in-law to Marion Pierce. She was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews and a special friend to the Schmidt family. All are invited to attend Elizabeth's visitation and funeral on Wednesday, May 29th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations in Elizabeth's memory to the SPCA (350 E. Erie Ave. Phila., Pa 19134)

Mary E. Kemmerer

Mary E. Kemmerer “Marybeth”, (nee Fagan) of the Frankford section of Philadelphia, passed away surrounded by her loving children and sisters, on May 15, 2024 at age 72. Loving mother of Christopher (Elizabeth), Philip, Bethanne, Nicole (Joseph), Colleen (Steve), Kimberly (Scott) and the late Dennis (Nichole) and Jennifer. Devoted grandmother of Ian, Christian, Mackenzie, Kirsten, Dennise, Brandon, Laniya, Abigail, Derrick, Hanna, Donte, Emma, Dennis, Molly, TJ and Paige. Sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Wednesday, May 22, from 9:00am – 10:30am in St. Jerome RC Church (Colfax & Stamford sts) There will be a funeral mass at 10:30am with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Charles W. Brooks, III

Charles Willis Brooks, III, formerly of Germantown, passed away on May 16, 2024, at age 85. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine Brooks. Loving father of Francine Maynard (Michael). Devoted grandfather of Melanie Maynard. At the request of Charles’ family there will no services.

Varghese Varghese

Varghese Varghese, age 77, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on May 14, 2024. Beloved husband of Sara Varghese. Beloved father of Biju Varghese (Krishna) and Benji Varghese (Jeen). Devoted Appachan of Leon, Jude, Jeeva and Isabel. Also survived by his brother Cherian Varughese (Achamma). Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and gathering on Friday May 17th from 9:30am – 10:30am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) Further arrangements will be held in private by his family. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers
