Patrick F. Murphy

Patrick F. Murphy, of the Northwood section of Philadelphia, passed away on July 11, 2024, at age 61.He is survived by his sons, Patrick ( Jacqueline) and Dennis ( Miranda) and his precious grandson, Macklin who he adored. He was also survived by his sisters, Rita (John) and Rose, his brothers, Brian (Cathy), Daniel (Robin) and William. He is also survived by all of his nieces and nephews, Jamie, John, Jason, Jennifer, Rachel, Laura, Brian, Trevor, Melanie and Amanda.Patrick loved all types of animals, in particular reptiles and fish. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved watching them play. He was loved by everyone he met and always knew how to make people laugh which could make hard situations seem easy with his continuous humor. He recently became a Grandfather to his grandson macklin. That instantly became his main focus and he really used it as fuel to get well during all his battles with his health. He will be missed by many. There will be a Celebration of life Held for Patrick on Sunday July 21st from 2:00-6:00pm if you would like to join. It will be held at Knights of Columbus located at 3300 Knorr St Philadelphia PA 19149. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our family.

Chanlan Li

Chanlan Li, of South Philadelphia, born in Shanghi, China, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on July 13, 2024, at age 87. Loving and devoted mother of Lee Sun and Qi Sun. In keeping with Chanlan's wishes, she is to be cremated.

Michael McCullough

Michael J. McCullough, of Mt. Carmel, Pa, formerly of the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia, passed away on July 13, 2024, at age 74. Michael was a proud 1969 graduate of Father Judge High School. Married to Elizabeth “Betty Barrett”. Father of Jennifer (Jim) Fleury, Colleen (Dominic) Giorgi, and Michael McCullough. Michael was predeceased by his parents: James J. McCullough Sr., Rita M.McCullough, brothers James Jr, Brian, John, sister-in-law Liza McCullough. He is survived by his sisters, Sr. Rita Bridget McCullough IHM, Peggy McCullough, brother Gregory McCullough & sister-in-law Linda Mc Cullough. Also, survived by three amazing grandchildren: Joey, Danny, Sarah, & three great grandchildren. He was the beloved uncle to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and true believer in our Loving God, as well as a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, Sea Isle City, NJ is where his heart lived. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Thursday, July 18, from 10:00am - 11:00am in St. Bernard RC Church (Cottage & Bleigh sts) There will be a funeral mass at 11:00am. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family

Barbara Beleiff

Barbara (Edelson) Beleiff passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, she was 58. Preceded in death by her father Ralph C. Edelson, she is survived by her mother Janet Edelson, her loving daughter Victoria(Dom) Ciocca, and sisters Jill (Tony) Matz, and Barrie (Harry) Wenger. Loving aunt to Eva, Gavi, Andrew, and Colin and great aunt to Aliza and Ronen. Barb was a Registered nurse and spent her career working at Jefferson University Hospital. Her extreme love of music, concerts, good food, and simplicity will never be forgotten. A celebration of life in her honor, will be held at a future date. Donations in her name can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
