Tyrone Robert Richberg

2/26/1960 – 1/5/2024

Tyrone Robert Richberg, was born to Roberta Richberg Pool and Tyrone Roberts in Philadelphia, PA. He attended Germantown High School, followed by employment in the labor industry. Tyrone worked various jobs and had an avid love for cooking. We’d often share recipes in hopes of one day starting a business serving people in the community. However, his courage and curiosity to try new things led him to become a carpenter (just like Jesus). Tyrone enjoyed this new endeavor, although his passion for cooking remained deep within. Tyrone was a very outgoing person. To know him was to love and appreciate him. Like a doctor, he was always on call. Tyrone was there for everyone, to do anything asked of him, day or night. He was a joyful person with a heart of gold. You couldn’t insult him because he would always tell you what God said. One thing is for sure, He loved the Lord! Tyrone was always happy and took pleasure in having a good time. If you were around him, you were sure to have a great time as well. When Erica Badu sang “You Better Call Tyrone” she meant Tyrone Richberg. Those were the perfect lyrics for him because you could “call Tyrone” without fail. Tyrone also had a huge love for skating and of course we would go! His favorite skating song was Maestro, an old late seventies jam. Tyrone loved the Lord and would send scriptures to everyone in his contact list each morning. He would call just to say I love you or see how you were doing. He was a man of God he knew the word. But the Lord knew him best. God only gives us three scores and 10 on this earth to do what we have to do for His glory – any extra is a gift. We are grateful for the time we had with Tyrone. His love for people and his passion for helping those in need will never be forgotten. Tyrone knew that we’d all have to come this way one day. He was prepared because he was saved. Praise God! Tyrone leaves to cherish his memory: son, Tyrone Robert Jackson (Danielle), Brothers, Jeffery and Kevin Richberg, sisters, Dorothy Cooper (Ronald), Mauri Richberg and the late Dennis Richberg, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, loving fiancé, Rosie Dudley, three dogs and a host of family and friends. Tyrone will be missed because he impacted so many lives. We thank you for your love and support. And as you pray for us, we’ll continue to pray for you that you get to know the Lord as Tyrone Robert Richberg did. Love peace and blessings.
