Thomas McKenna
Tom McKenna, known as Hock by most of his friends, died on November 1, 2024. He spent his life devoted to the Philadelphia High School basketball community. Hock was legendary to many friends, coaches and players over two generations. Tom was loved by his family and survived by his five sisters: Eileen Foglia, Barbara McKenna, Nancy Bader, Linda Pons, and Carolyn Farrell, as well sisters’ spouses, his aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Tom’s Life is being planned.

Tom would join us for prayer at our convent and at our events. It was always such a gift to pray with him. He was always so proud he shared a birthday with the Blessed Mother! We would love to attend his funeral once all the arrangements are made.
