Patricia Ann Lane was born on June 8th, 1962 to the late Barbara Lane Camp and Hiram James in Philadelphia, PA.  Miss Misha, Mudda and Tricia, as family and friends affectionately called her was always there when needed and helped with the care of our aunt Priscilla when she became ill until her death.  Tricia attended Strawberry Mansion schooI and in her early teen years, she met Lester Davis and from that union their son James “Peewee” Camp was born.  Tricia loved people and took a job serving drinks.  She loved listening to old music, putting together puzzles, playing word and numbers games and cards.  She killed it playing the family’s favorite game of pinochle.  Later in life, Tricia met Donald Matthews and they were together for over 20 years until his death.  Tricia once again found her true love Lester Davis and they became engaged.  Tricia was recently diagnosed with lung cancer.  She didn’t let cancer slow her down.  She was strong, optimistic and accepted her condition with grace and dignity.  Her last words to me was “Cubby, I’m not going to be sad or feel sorry for myself.  I’m going to fight, get treatment and live until I can’t.”  Tricia was a fighter and was always there by your side.  Whenever called upon, Tricia came running with both guns locked and loaded.  Mudda was my childhood protector, friend and favorite cousin.
On Monday, March 28th, Father God called Patricia home.  Tricia will be sorely missed by everyone who loved her.
Patricia leaves to mourn her son James Camp; her fiancée Lester Davis; her brother Thomas Robinson; great aunt Mary (Sis); aunts Estella, Trena, Sheila and Starlette; uncles Allen, Earl and Timothy and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
Thank you… The family of the late Patricia Ann Lane would like to thank you for your prayers, kind words and support of our family during this time.  Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
