Mario Rey Vazquez

Mario Rey Vazquez, of Philadelphia, formerly of New York, sadly passed away October 14, 2023, at the age of 56. Mario graduated from Lincoln University in Philadelphia with his BA. He loved to do mechanics, construction and plumbing work. He loved the elderly and children especially his grandchildren. Mario loved to laugh and was always joking around. He was fun, loving and caring with a great sense of humor. Son of Rosa Calderon and Reinaldo Vazquez. Loving companion of Carmen Nieves. Beloved father of Shaquana, Maylene, Anthony, Kelvin, Gerald, Yakeycha, Ashley and Li’Niyah aka Lilly. Grandfather of Amir, Xavier, Camila, Kaden, Sofia, Ariel and Catalina. Cherished brother of Virginia, JoAnna, Richard, Jasmine, Rey Enrique, and Shanny. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Cuso, Suly ,BreAnna, CJ, Marc and Tianna, his aunts, uncles and many friends that loved him. Special thanks to JoAnna and Tia Sonia. Services for Mario will be held privately by his family.
