Doris Bennett (nee Knopp), formerly of the Kensington section of Philadelphia, passed away on September 30, 2023, at age 89. Beloved wife of the late William “Buddy” Bennett. Loving mother of Dorann Matthews (John), William “Butch” Bennett (Marie), Barbara Bennett, Michael “Mike” Bennett (Dawn) and the late Edward “Eddie” Bennett, Catherine Bennett. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday evening October 5, from 5:30pm – 7:00pm in Our Lady of Calvary RC Church (11024 Knights Rd Philadelphia19154) Another viewing will be held in the church on Friday morning starting at 11:00am. There will be a funeral mass at 12:00 noon. Further arrangements will be held in private by her family.
