Deborah C. Smith, of the Frankford section of Philadelphia, passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 57. Born to the late James and Patricia Smith. Deborah was a loving and devoted mother to Ashley Garcia and Brandon Smith. She cherished her role as Mama to IsaiYah and Aiden.

Deborah is remembered fondly by her family, including her siblings William Smith, Patricia Maneely, Janet Ray, Kathy Black, and James Smith Jr. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

Throughout her life, Deborah was known for her free spirit and her ability to touch the lives of those around her. Deborah’s personality made her unforgettable to all who crossed her path. Her community and family were her greatest joys and she will be deeply missed.

All are invited to Deborah's visitation and funeral on Friday, August 9th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) from 9:30 am-11:00 am. There will be a words of remembrance service with eulogies at 11:00 am. I can't believe it! This one hits close and hard. I've known Debbie since Ash was a baby, and I watched Brandon be born! (She drove us to the hospital because I couldn't drive stick. ☺️) Debbie has always had a huge, giving heart...would literally do anything and everything to help someone. She had a way of making everyone feel special. I'm already missing you Deb!💔 Say hi to my Mom for me. 😢 Love you! ♥️
