Veronica Alba

Veronica Alba (nee Ryan), “Roni”, formerly of the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, passed away on October 11th, 2021, at age 64. Beloved wife of Rich Alba for 37 years. Loving daughter of Francis Ryan and Clare Ryan (nee Long). Sister of Francis Ryan (Joanne), Kathleen McTighe (Tom) and Clare McAneny (Pat). Also survived by her in-laws, Karen Alba (Joanne), Nicholas Alba, Jr.  (Kim), Nicole Rost (Jim) and the late Frances Alba. Daughter-in-law of Casmira “Kate” Alba (the late Nicholas Alba, Sr.). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Roni was employed at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange for 44 years, was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier, Hallahan HS and the Philadelphia Restaurant School. Roni was passionate about many things in her life, none more so than her husband, family and friends. Amongst her passions, were her love for her dogs, traveling and attending/rooting for Philly sports teams. All services and interment will be private.
